Children have a special place in the ministries of Grace Community Church because we believe our children will be the church leaders of tomorrow. We also believe that the Children's Ministry is not just for kids. This ministry is for the whole family. Our goal is to partner with our parents so that the kids can experience Jesus in everything they do.

Deuteronomy 6:5-9 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.

Infants up to two years old can go to the Nursery located in the rear of the worship center building. You will receive an electronic pager so you can rest assured out staff can quickly contact you if needed.

Our children’s program is for kids ages 2- 5th grade. The first service is in a Jr. Church format. This is where our kids start in the main service worshiping with their families and then come back together and enjoy learning stories from the Bible as one BIG group and have a little fun too! Our second service starts again with the kids worshiping with their families and then they are broken up into classes of age and grades to spend time in God’s Word and learning more about Him in a small classroom setting. Our AWANA clubs meet on Wednesday nights from 6:30pm to 8:00pm during the school year. Children 3 years old through 6th grade participate in our clubs. We challenge children to memorize God’s Word and hide it in their hearts for life. An award system lets the children see their progress and spurs them on for more. Out Bible message time helps them learn and apply scripture to their lives. Our lively games keep them coming back excited. graceKIDS hosts Vacation Bible School in the month of July every year. It is a week long program for kids going into Kindergarten through 6th grade. We also have an outstanding preschool that has a wonderful heritage for serving the families of Saddleback Valley with quality Christian Education.
